Estate Planning & Elder Law Attorney

An established and highly respected mid-sized law firm located in the Garden Hills area of Queens is looking to add an experienced trusts and estates attorney to their team. Known for its long-standing reputation and highly regarded practice, the firm is committed to providing top legal services to its clients. They offer a collaborative, professional, and client-focused environment for attorneys to thrive in, with this role based fully in person at the firm's Queens office.

This role will focus primarily on estate planning, with some exposure to trusts and estate administration matters. Experience in estate planning, elder law, or probate is highly preferred, though the firm is open to candidates with other relevant legal backgrounds as well. The ideal candidate will bring strong drafting skills and the ability to provide thoughtful counsel to clients regarding personal, family, and business planning goals.

Responsibilities

• Draft estate planning documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and general elder law
• Assist with estate and trust administration as needed
• Maintain strong client relationships through responsive, professional communication
• Collaborate with colleagues across the firm to deliver comprehensive legal solutions

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to the New York Bar
• Experience in estate planning, elder law, or probate highly preferred; candidates with other relevant backgrounds are also encouraged to apply
• Excellent drafting, research, and analytical skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and a client-service orientation
• Willingness and ability to work in person at the firm's Garden Hills, Queens office
