Estate Planning Attorney - High Net Worth

A well-established national law firm with a strong presence in Atlanta is seeking a Trusts & Estates attorney to join its team. The firm has built an excellent client base and a strong reputation in the Atlanta market and beyond, and offers the resources, infrastructure, and support of a national platform. This is an opportunity to step into an established, sophisticated practice with significant client relationships already in place.

The firm is seeking an attorney to advise clients on estate planning and trust matters, with a particular focus on high net worth and ultra high net worth individuals and families. The successful candidate will work on complex planning matters, benefit from strong institutional support, and have access to an existing and active client base.

Responsibilities:

• Advising high net worth and ultra high net worth clients on estate planning strategies, including wills, trusts, and wealth transfer techniques
• Structuring and drafting sophisticated estate planning documents, including complex trusts
• Advising on tax-efficient wealth transfer, succession planning, and asset protection strategies
• Managing client relationships and serving as a trusted advisor on sensitive family and financial matters
• Collaborating with colleagues across the firm's platform, including tax, corporate, and other practice groups, on multidisciplinary client matters
• Representing clients in probate and trust administration matters as needed

Requirements:

• Active admission to the Georgia Bar
• 2+ years of experience in trusts & estates / estate planning
• Experience advising high net worth and/or ultra high net worth clients strongly preferred
• Strong technical knowledge of estate planning, trust, and wealth transfer strategies
• Excellent drafting, communication, and client relationship skills
• Ability to work in person at the firm's Atlanta office (this is not a remote or hybrid role)

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $200,000+, commensurate with experience
